Hi, I'm Mika

I'm the caramel face behind Mika's Shop. I'm 12 now, I love treats more than is reasonable, and I have the soul of an explorer, even if I nap like a champion. My world changed the day Nala, my friend of always, had to move away. The days got longer, the naps lonelier, and I started to feel left behind.

Here's something I don't hide: I'm a sensitive cat. At my age, a noise too sharp or a toy that rushes at me without warning, and I'm gone, under the couch for the rest of the day. And yet the very toy that scares me can send another cat wild with joy. I've watched kittens pounce on noisy things I wouldn't even dare to look at.

That got my guardian, my best friend, thinking. He understood I needed more than treats. I needed the right kind of play, the kind that fits who I am. That's how Mika's Shop was born.

So here's our whole idea: no toy is good or bad. It just has to meet the right cat. A curious kitten, a confident adult, a tireless hunter, or a sensitive soul like me. That's why every product here gets a paw rating by cat profile, with an honest note on the noise. You're not buying "the best toy", you're finding the right toy for YOUR cat. Our promise

Mika's Shop is two friends, a human and a cat, picking things we'd want in our own home and telling you the truth about them, even when the truth is "this one isn't for a shy cat". That honesty means fewer bad surprises for you, and fewer bad days for your companion.
